Gender equality and empowering women is an essential aspect of SDGs. A family, community and society flourish only when women and girls are empowered with the liberty and opportunity to have an education, be financially independent and be a part of decision-making at home and in society. Women can be the most critical catalysts for change in their children and families. Therefore, they should have equal socio-economic, cultural and political opportunities as equivalent to men. By strengthening or empowering women, we can strengthen the roots of a better society. Women’s empowerment is necessary if a society or community is to develop socially and economically.
Program
Hope Humanity’s women development programs aim to empower women so that they can become self-independent and support their families financially and also to promote their self-employment. At our centres, we are giving certified training under flagship skill development PMKVY in Computer Software Skills, Tailoring & Embroidery, and beautician courses to women and girls. Through our training programs we provide sustainable livelihood opportunities through training programs to women to earn income.
We also provide skill development training courses at centres, where women and girls have trained basis of their state-specific profession. Our program also empowers women through microfinance interventions, including financial literacy, capacity building in business or micro-enterprise settings and their product sales on digital platforms.
