Education

Education is one of the most important global development agendas and its accessibility has always been a significant challenge for deprived children. Across the world, including India, millions of children are being robbed of education even after knowing that they are our hope for the future. Many of them are deprived of learning due to being caught up in emergencies, calamities, migration, extreme poverty and discrimination because of their gender, caste and ethnicity. Due to this, almost all countries have committed to achieving Sustainable Development Goal no. 4 to ensure quality education.

Window of Opportunity

In India, the RTE act guarantees free and compulsory education for all children up to 14 years. However, due to various circumstances such as socio-economic issues, accessibility, affordability and migration, many students, especially girls, drop out or discontinue their education.

The challenges of returning to school and accessing learning opportunities are too big for those who couldn’t be able to finish their elementary or secondary education. Under the program, as a way of continuing their education, we strengthen their learning abilities at our centres and then support them to get enrolled in government schools as per their age.

Early Childhood Education

Hope Humanity’s Early Childhood Education program focuses on the holistic and all-around development of children aged 3 to 8 years and their readiness for school. It is done with the support of mothers and our volunteers in the community.

School Jana hain

Since 2017, Hope Humanity, through its ‘School Jana hain’ program, has been helping children from extremely marginalised backgrounds, like migrated families, poor and economically challenged to go to school. Under the program, we provide basic foundation education for one year, then in collaboration with government schools, mainstream them in formal schools for regular schooling education.

Learning Ability

Since its inception, Hope Humanity’s education programs have been covering the entire age range from 1st standard to 8th standard and focusing on ensuring that children within this age range learn to read & write well and to get better in arithmetic. We run tuition centres where we provide basic and elementary education to children and increase their learning capacity in reading, writing, mathematics and other subjects. With this opportunity, they get motivated to learn to do well in their studies.
